Component requires part number, description and serial number. Also required
hours/cycles on the aircraft when the component was installed and the date that
it was installed. History: hours/cycles & months/days on the component prior to
install.
Last complied with hours/cycles and date. Adding / editing a limit for a
component is very straightforward.
First is the frequency: hours, months, days or cycles. Next is the description:
scheduled, O/C, cycle names, AD, SB, hours and the option to add your own.
Last is the action for the limit. Retire, inspection, overhaul or on condition.
The alert sets the notification time when you will be notified. 25 hour alert
will flag the item when your remaining time is within the alert time you set.
Comply with maintenance or component limits is very straightforward.
Touch the Comply With Limit button and it shows the current hours or cycles and
date for the item to change or not. Touch continue and the hours and date are
highlighted. Touch accept and the last complied with hours and date will reset
along with the remaining and current time.

Discrepancies are problems that you encounter, for instance an oil leak a bad
light bulb or even serious items. when you send the report to your service
center the discrepancies will be included in the report. Status indicates the
discrepancy is pending or complete. Priority is low, medium or high.

Cycles and Hours is the key to CompuTrak, this is the basis of calculations
for maintenance requirements and component life items.
For accurate and useful maintenance alerts, CompuTrak must have current hours
and cycles data. Aircraft projection report: set date, hours and cycles ahead
and recalculate then check your alerts and send the report to yourself for
reference. Be sure and reset Hours and Cycles.
Select the aircraft from the list provided and enter the registration number,
serial number and the hours currently on the aircraft. The date will be the
default installed at date for components. Go thru each component limit and enter
the required data. I.e. History: hours/cycles & months/days on the component
prior to install, Last complied with hours/cycles and date and serial numbers.
The next screen is Hours & Cycles. Add any cycles you need such as Starts. Multi
engine needs Start1, Start2 etc. When finished with each cycle, touch 'Update
Limits for all' If your aircraft is not in the list, select blank to
create your own aircraft. Touch accept to Proceed to add components and
requirements.
